Million Leaders Mandate (Malaysia) Testimony
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to the leaders of MLM Malaysia,
My name is Ethaniel. Let me begin by offering my most sincere thanks and gratefulness to the leaders in this ministry especially our Lord and eldest brother Jesus Christ. The year 2008 has truly been an eventful year. Even as I go through the notes in notebook one and study His word, it has slowly but surely dawned upon me that I am no longer the same person I used to be! Life has indeed taken an about turn as I endeavor to lead myself first and others towards the fulfillment of the great commission. Truth to be told, the journey is not an easy path to take. It requires a great amount of faith, coupled by a greater amount of love, mixed with hope in the Lord and fueled by a compelling vision to truly live a life that is blessed. For that, I am forever grateful & loved for what others have invested in my own life thus far and continue to do for my future.
Now that the hard part is over, please allow me to tell you my story from a third person's perspective: Many years have come and gone, but the heart of this little boy always longed for that deeper connection with others he came to know and love. He wanted to know what he could do to not feel alone in his life as he journeyed through and sought out his purpose in life. Little did he knew that God was very much working and orchestrating behind this little boy's life, slowly molding him and preparing him for His own purpose. The little boy, not knowing much of the Lord, went through life nonchalantly and enjoyed his childhood, nurtured by his loving parents and secured in the love he received.
As he grew, the boy soon realized that life was not as he envisioned it. There were struggles and difficulties which had to be overcome in order to achieve something in life. He soon joined the ranks of many in becoming a student that sought to fulfill his dreams. At the same time, God continued to reveal himself to the boy through his ongoing journey in life. There were quite a number of ups & downs in this period, as he experienced love, hate, anger, pride, sadness, hurt, fame, envy, lust, strife and many others. As life changed and made him feel uncomfortable, the boy developed a certain sense of adaptability and became proud of what he went through.
Life as he knew it was about to change when his current comfort zone was once again put to the test. A change of environment sought to challenge all that he had acquired and learned over the years. Being a student of life's challenges and rewards, the teenager fought tooth & nail, not wanting to surrender to the whims and fancies of the world. God was now becoming clearer and more of a grand-father figure in his life. Even so, another powerful force had taken notice of the teenager, evidenced by his rebelliousness and disrespect for his parents. Soon, this took a toll and developed in full blown lust. The teenager had come across a tool that was very intriguing and tempted by the thirst for intimacy in relationships, he now had a problem: addiction to pornography on the internet. He reasoned that since it did not hurt others and it was a private affair then it did not matter what others said as long as it made him feel close and enraptured by the false sense of that "closeness". This would continue to become a thorn in the flesh for him.
The teenager then grew to become a young adult and regretted his actions, knowing now the truth that came from his Maker and author. God is now very real in his life and would not let him go. He too sought God and asked his Lord not to forsake him, to free him from the trap that he was in. Thank God for His mercy and grace that He sent helpers along the way to mold, guide and direct the young adult in preparation for what God was about to call him to do.
The young guy's parents did not understand what this man was going through because he chose not to divulge what was happening. His only saving grace was a kind and loving sister that continued to be an example of living that blessed life. As the young guy sought to continue in making a difference in his life and others, he was sent to a far place where he was to be tested. God had his hand upon this guy's life; all that he had learned and experienced was to be refined and shaped once more to the perfect image of Christ His beloved son. God is faithful and always will be as the young man graduated from the walk of his first half (school of life). He served faithfully in the far place and did his best to obey God in His truths.
The call soon came to this man to return and be reunited with his parents. Though a new occupation is to follow and many events did not seem to make much sense to him, he continued to persevere and sought the Lord. Pretty soon for some reason only known to his Master, the man came into contact with a key group of people known as godly leaders. He was soon signed and enrolled into another class that would forever change his life again.
In leadership class, he learned about leadership and relationships. Guided and led by a group of godly leaders, this man continued on his journey towards fulfilling God's purpose in his life. Together with the encouragement of family, friends and fellow servant leaders of God, his purpose in life became clear and now he is well equipped to do the work of God. Although he did not take immediate action on what was learned in class, the reminders from the godly leaders and their great Leader compelled the man to start and apply the principals he acquired in class. The thoughts that he once had is no longer the same, the actions would now be choreographed by his Master and his life is now forever owned and sealed by the King of kings and Lord of Lords in God's kingdom.
